Ms. Ikuyo Yamaoka, Certified Ikenobo Ikebana instructor. She is dedicated preserving and sharing the traditions of Ikenobo, the oldest school of Japanese floral art. Through classes, workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions she inspires students and communities to discover the beauty, balance, and mindfulness in Ikebana. Her teaching emphasizes respect for nature, creativity, and the unique character of every plant. Ms. Yamaoka’s passion for cultural exchange and education has introduced countless people to the timeless art and philosophy of Ikenobo Ikebana throughout the southeastern United States.
